Boulder Bank Adventure by M.S. and R.J.

Our middle syndicate had an adventure.  Last week on a lovely sunny day we visited the Boulder  Bank.  It was heaps of fun.   We split into three groups and rotated around.  We sketched the sea landscape, took photos of the environment and also studied the mudflats looking in small nature grids.  Last of all we picked up rubbish.  Guess what?  There was hardly any rubbish to be found.  This is great news.

Yesterday we watched Major and Liam put up our fantastic new T.V.  It will be connected so we can use this for our classroom learning.  It will be fantastic.  Thank you Clifton Terrace School. :-)

Fantastic Olive Picking by M.T. and C.M.

Fun, fun in the sun on fantastic Monday. We went olive picking. It was lots of fun. We managed to pick 21 crates. :-)

Nice to see Room 2 working hard on drawing pictures of leaves. Very very very nice!!!!!!!! It was fun!!!!!!

We found the leaves up the hill. Next we brought them back to the classroom.  Carefully observing its little special features, we drew them onto a piece of paper.

Centre of New Zealand Syndicate Visit by T.C. and M.L.

Last Friday we had a busy time at Centre of New Zealand.  Lots of art with Vic, native tree observations, sports with no injuries, plus hard work tramping up and down the hill.  The view at the top was fantastic.

We started our day with all our clothes on to see how we would survive if our boat tipped  over and we ended up in the water.  It was hard work making sure we could take our clothes off (our togs were still on) and survive the day.
