We did scanning in newspapers for specific information. It was awesome. We looked for different things such as: good news, bad news, a job advertisement and some news about a sport.

Science Fair Entries by Leah and Kate
Kate and I put a lot of hard work into our science fair entries. All of our hard work and perseverance paid off. Our science fair projects were selected to go though to the finals. Harry was second equal with Kate. Jamie came third. Harry and Jamie's entries did not get through to the inter-school finals. The finals will be held in Stoke on Monday the 19 September. Volcanic Splashes by Nicklas
I made a splashing volcano. After I poured into volcano some vinegar, baking soda and red food colouring some lava splashed around and over the volcano top.
Tree Planting by Blake and Jack
Room 2 has been tree planting. It was lots of fun and it was really gooey. We planted lots and lots of plants. Richard helped us plant the plants. We got to see the roots on the plants. At the end we found lots of clay. It was wet. After that, we went back to school.
