Gardening with Petra

On wonderful lovely lucky Wednesday we did a lot of sowing seeds in small planting pots. We all got a turn at sowing and getting soil out of the really, really, stinky worm bin. Luca said he nearly "threw up" because of the smell of the worm bin. It was a lot of fun. We enjoyed ourselves. At the end of the day we got squashy, swishy, mushy blue water balls. They were very easy to break.

Yesterday we did amazing art with an amazing artist. We did a HUMUNGOUS topic drawing about....... the beautiful Paradise duck. We OUTRAGEOUSLY did some dark SHADING and tincy wincy light shading. Then we did some more work on our awesome Paradise duck.

Super Swimming Survial

Room 2 experienced what it is like to fall off a boat incase it happens. We put clothes on top of our togs and slipped into the pool. Brrrr it was freezing. I didn't want to fall off a boat ever. Once we were in we took our wet clothes off. Our clothes felt cold and heavy. It felt like we had been in an enormous storm.

C.T.S. - Garden Lunch

Each fortnight Petra comes to assist us maintain our school garden. Last Wednesday we picked, chopped and prepared lots of lovely produce from our garden and produced an enormous lunch for us all.
