Java Dance Company

We had the pleasure of watching a very special dance and mime company performance. Have a go, yes you can do it. It was fantastic having the opportunity watching Gina a past student from C.T.S. as an adult performer. I am sure our recent Production will motivate some of us in Room 2 to also make a career out of dance and drama in the future.

"A Big Green Adventure"

Room 2 has lovely taking part in our school production. We featured as trees, in scene 2. This scene involved "talking trees" and we all sang a song "It Doesn't Pay to be a Tree today" with dance movements. Enjoy looking at our photos showing our costumes and make up.

LAPTOPS

We think our laptops are great. Look at the photos of us all researching and activating prior knowledge. We had three steps. The first was to identify what we know. The second was to ask the question about what we want to find out. Last of all we used our laptops to find our answers for our learning.

LIFE EDUCATION BUS

We had fun with HAROLD learning about what we should eat and about the digestive process. It was exciting having HAROLD visit us at the Junior Assembly.

Rabbit Island Picnic Fun

It was cool digging in the sand, washing against the waves, taking a long walk and having team fun at the great C.T.S. picnic day. Can you find our Room 2 friends with their buddies in our pictures?

Swimming in Clothes

One of our last classroom swimming activities was to experience what it is like to try surviving in water with our clothes on. The water made our clothes feel very heavy. It was a team effort when we went into a survival huddle. Everybody enjoyed this experience.
